Our team consists of an architect, an engineer, and various cats. We are often under the influence of coffee, cars, movies, music and/or the red dot.

BEHOLD THE MISANTHROPICAT ARTIST STATEMENT!
We are interested in the interplay between the remarkable and the mundane, and it is within this balance that we find creative inspiration. Our work, under the name MISANTHROPICAT, is an exploration of textures, colors and images, offering a connection to our environment and a nostalgia for the digital landscapes that shape our collective consciousness.
Based in Bryan, Texas, we draw from the region’s everyday elements, instilling them with a sense of atmospheric depth, tactile presence and occasionally humor. Our digital art can be used as a portal to a meditative space, inviting viewers to contemplate the subtle strangeness of everyday experience. We seek to evoke a sense of ambiguity, comedy and introspection, encouraging an appreciation for the fleeting moments that often go unnoticed.
It is our hope that the work fosters a stronger connection to the world we inhabit, urging a renewed sense of wonder, respect and possibility for the intricate and sometimes delicate bond between our inner life and our physical environment.
